Adarsh Sharma is a Managing Director at Primus Partners. Prior to joining Primus, Adarsh was Director with KPMG India and has experience working with multilateral agencies such as the UN. He is a project management, market research, and marketing communication professional with 14 years of experience. He holds credible international experience of handling assignments related to donor development programs, policy advisory, and trade promotion with extensive experience in stakeholder management and well works networked with the industry executive landscape.

Adarsh currently work towards facilitating dialogue between government authorities and private sector investors (foreign and domestic) to discuss regulatory issues and make strategic recommendations to resolve any bottlenecks affecting the investment decision. A trusted advisor to senior bureaucrats in various state governments and central ministries on policy formation and regulatory reforms, he has led multiple projects with international government agencies to understand the regulatory landscape and ease gridlocks affecting cross-border trade. He has also served as a member of the advisory panel to the office of the Chief Minister, Government of Maharashtra to revive industries affected by COVID 19 pandemic and is also a member of the State flagship Industrial Investment Initiative (Industry Sherpa).

He has a deep passion for marketing communication backed by business and data analysis. He has led multiple projects towards improving communication effectiveness, creating impact through brand awareness, familiarity, favourability, purchase intent, customer targeting, and development of a company’s growth agenda. He also has been at the centre of developing a donor behaviour-led integrated marketing strategy with a clear focus on retention, upsell, and analytics-based acquisition strategy, leading teams across multiple disciplines that include advertising agencies, digital marketing agencies and telecentres.
