1 in 5 students struggle with problem-solving and critical thinking: Report
01-04-2025
A recent Primus Partner's report highlights that only 9% of students are highly skilled in essential areas like problem-solving, with 1 in 5 students lacking critical skills. Additionally, 30% of government and 13% of private school students struggle to apply learning practically. The report calls for policy changes and updated curricula to bridge these gaps and better equip students for the future. Charu Malhotra, Co-founder & Managing Director, Primus Partners, emphasizes the need for educational reforms to foster creativity, problem-solving, and digital skills to fuel India’s $80 billion creative economy. She urges a shift from rote learning to a competency-based curriculum that prepares students for real-world challenges.
