CNG Motorcycle Didn’t Click. Can Scooters Change The Story?

Anurag Singh, Advisor, Primus Partners highlighted CNG can be cost-effective for fleet operators because of centralized refueling and predictable usage, but wider adoption, especially for two-wheelers, is limited by challenges such as space constraints, performance issues, high retrofit costs, and inadequate refueling infrastructure. While CNG may achieve moderate success, he believes it will not become a mainstream alternative to petrol or electric vehicles.
