Nikhil Dhaka, Vice-president, Primus Partners, emphasized the benefits of a digital battery passport in the electric vehicle (EV) market, highlighting its role in enhancing transparency and consumer trust. He explained that such a passport serves as a digital ID for EV batteries, detailing their health, performance, and manufacturing history. Drawing from European pilot projects, He highlighted that standardized documentation can boost confidence in battery resale value, reduce valuation disputes, and support fair pricing in the used EV market.
