High Readiness Rare Amongst Students: Report
02-04-2025
A report by Primus Partners "Shaping Education to nurture the $80 Billion Creative Economy" highlights that many Indian students, especially in government schools, show low readiness to apply learning to real-life situations. It finds that only 9% of students excel in critical skills like problem-solving and design thinking, with 30% of government school students and 13% of private school students struggling. The report calls for curriculum reforms to better prepare students for an innovation-driven future, noting that private schools excel in practical learning, while public schools have strong observational skills.
