The webinar provided a platform to the leading players in the industry and Industry Association to connect and interact with DG Acquisition and express the views and feedback of the industry. It also provided Govt. of India to get an opinion from the industry regarding the Draft Policy. Government highlighted that in the draft of DPP 2020 which was put in public domain in March just before the lockdown, the focus as always is on increased indigenisation, giving impetus to Indian industry and at the same time providing adequate capabilities to the armed forces.
