Kanishk Maheshwari, Co-founder & Managing Director, Primus Partners,highlighted that China leads global MMF production and exports, while India trails due to structural challenges like fragmented supply chains, high input costs, and outdated technologies. He emphasized the need for upgrading MMF manufacturing, especially in polyester, viscose, and functional fibres, alongside policy support and cluster-level collaboration to boost competitiveness and expand India’s high-value MMF export portfolio.
