Premium Bike Sales Defy GST hike, registers 4% growth

Anurag Singh, Advisor, Primus Partners, shared his view that while the higher GST rate weighed on premium motorcycle sales in November, demand in the segment has remained resilient as buyers are relatively less price-sensitive. He added that the growing price gap between 350 cc and 450 cc models is becoming increasingly difficult to justify without significant product differentiation, which could impact consumer preference going forward.
