Shravan Shetty, Managing Director, Primus Partners, shared his view that the advance-decline ratio of Nifty Small and Midcap 100 stands at 1:4, compared to 1:2 for the Nifty, indicating that outflows particularly from foreign institutional investors—are more pronounced in mid and small-cap stocks. He added that a falling rupee and global uncertainty are driving these outflows, weighing further on the mid and small-cap segment.
