Ramakrishnan M, Managing Director, Primus Partners, highlighted that India’s beverage industry is on a strong growth trajectory, with the carbonated segment expected to reach ₹60,200 crore and the non-carbonated market ₹1.38 lakh crore by FY28. Functional beverages and bottled water are also set to grow significantly by 2033. He highlights the dominance of Indian brands like Dabur, Parle, Bisleri, and Paper Boat across various segments, even outpacing global players. He emphasizes the vast potential in tier II, III, IV cities and rural markets, stating that with authenticity and creativity, Indian brands can not only lead domestically but also influence global beverage trends.
