Mohan Doifode is a senior strategy, digital transformation and defence modernisation leader with over 25 years of experience across the Indian Army, Deloitte and the Middle East. As Managing Director, Saudi Arabia at Primus Partners, he is spearheading the firm's growth strategy and business expansion in the region, driving its consulting services in education, government transformation and defence while strengthening client relationships and reinforcing the firm's international presence.
His expertise spans strategy consulting, AI and digital transformation, Industry 4.0, cloud and technology alliances, smart cities, telecom and digital infrastructure, defence modernisation, public sector reform, and large-scale programme management. He has worked extensively with governments, public sector institutions and leading enterprises across Smart Cities, Telecom, Defence, Banking and Oil & Gas, in both India and Saudi Arabia.
During his tenure as Director at Deloitte, he led the firm's cloud alliance with Google Cloud in India, enabling sales of US$ 7.5 Mn and a pipeline of US$ 19.0 Mn in FY 2021-22 and contributing to Deloitte becoming the #1 Global Services Partner for Google Cloud. He directed the PMO of 45 consultants for MahaNet, a US$ 1.1 Bn fibre optic network programme, led the Center for e-Governance for a US$ 1.5 Bn State Data Center programme enabling digital citizen services across 200+ government departments, and crafted the roadmap for a Smart City Incubation & Innovation Center that incubated 68 start-ups in 18 months, earning recognition from the Ministry of Urban Development for operational excellence.
A former Colonel in the Indian Army (1996-2018), he led advanced technology and innovation programmes including QRSAM, MP-ATGM and Battlefield Management Systems, developing defence technology roadmaps and accelerating the deployment of mission-critical capabilities. As Special Advisor, he supported the modernisation of the aerospace and defence sector, including Tri-Services transformation, military modernisation and strategic governance initiatives such as the Tactical C3I programme (USD 600 Mn).
He is also an entrepreneur and the Founder of Meraki Global, a Riyadh-based consortium of 15+ global technology companies delivering IT services and business solutions, and has led AI and digital strategy engagements for leading government and corporate institutions in Saudi Arabia, developing technology roadmaps, operating models and capability-building programmes.
