‘Reimagining Public Service Delivery: Accelerating the Global South’s Digital Moment’ examines how Digital Public Infrastructure can evolve from foundational identity, payment and data systems into trusted, AI-enabled platforms that improve public service delivery and advance inclusive economic growth. It looks beyond technology to the institutional capacity, governance frameworks, financing, cybersecurity and last-mile access required to make digital transformation meaningful for citizens.
Developed by Tata Consultancy Services, with Primus Partners as Knowledge Partner, the compendium features senior perspectives from MeitY, NITI Aayog, NPCI, the State Bank of India, the United Nations, the OECD Development Centre and IIT Madras, alongside voices from TCS, Jio Platforms, Bharti Airtel and Primus Partners.
Drawing on India’s experience without presenting it as a one-size-fits-all model, the report explores financial inclusion, cross-border payments, administrative reform, women-centric design, cyber resilience and responsible AI. It concludes with practical recommendations for building secure, interoperable, inclusive and locally owned digital ecosystems across the Global South.
